Idea of an Avocado cafe was born 

The idea of an avocado cafe was born when a group of friends discussed over coffee why avocado items in melbourne cafe is crazily expensive. A news about one cafe in South Melbourne serving expensive for a DIY avocado toast went viral to the world. Avocado toast was also getting the blame for millennials not being able to buy a home in Australia.  We really want to present avocado best moment, with stunning presentation and delicious, at a down to earth pricing in Melbourne City. The idea was born but remain fragile. 

Lockdown

The passion for avocado still remain strong. We notice first hand how Australia avocado can provide more energy, better skin and digestive through daily avocado consumption. Our passion for spreading #avolove is still strong. Melbourne’s 6 lockdown gave us the opportunity to experiment the various dishes to present avocado to the best moment. We are confident of our team, the menu, and just needed the right location to be conveniently accessible for all of Melbourne.

Avocado Abundance in Australia

Australia has a problem – too many avocados. The problem is made worse when supermarket is constantly relying on overseas import for their avocados supplies.  Local farmers faced crunching prices from the over supply because of favourable growing condition. We are even more motivated to be part of a solution to present Australian avocado in it’s best light. To better educate the world of the true value of an Australia avocado. The choice of location is even more important. It has to be Melbourne City. 

Avocado Moment Team Assembled

The team making up of  Ares, Winnie, Fane and Will is formally assembled. They are also supported by many other heroes. We are all in.

Source of Avocado

We manage to source our avocadoes from selected local farmers who are nearer to us and only as far as Queensland. We make sure that farms are sustainable and near to us so we can ensure eating avocado is a low carbon footprint activity. 

Melbourne Re-Opening

After enduring one of the world’s longest lockdown and the Omicron wave of uncertainty, Melbourne is Back.
